Hello all my darling users! It’s been a while since I’ve written in, and I’ve hardly had time to talk to some of our new users, so I thought I’d take you all on a little journey of DesiMartini – and how it can boost your online-entertainment and social life! Listen in guys, this could be very useful!
PROFILE
Firstly I would like all my users to update their profiles regularly...remember...the better your profile looks, the better your chances of attracting friends. Here are some tips to create a great profile:
1. Be positive
2. Create excitement, by uploading videos and photos
3. Reveal facts
4. Honesty is the best policy
5. Upload a photo (of your own please… we know you’re not the real Shahid Kapoor!)
Also you can edit your profile any time under Settings and customize the profile page in your favourite colour.
GROUPS
Keep joining groups my lovelies. You can join a group about anything. In can be about girls, or lack of girls, cricket, football, kabbadi, parakeet lovers, anything! If you’re a kind, giving soul, then promote a cause! Be friends for not just your friends but for those who need friends. I recently joined this group called "Stop global warming".
1. If you build it - people will join
2. Mobilize your current assets - promote your group! Spread the word about your group through all your channels: friend network, email, pings and blogs.
3. Don’t forget to add pictures to your group and add your comments too!
PRIVATE PINGS
A Ping is a message that you can leave for your friends on their Pingdom. Anyone who views his or her profile will be able to see your message. A private ping is a message you can send to people who aren’t your friends, and are not viewable by anyone else. When sending a private ping:
1.Do not use abusive or excessively romantic language to catch attention.
2.Keep it simple
3.Introduce yourself
…And for people who receive private pings from folks they don’t know...please don’t mind - it’s just a way to start a conversation!
