The Grand Finale of Miss India Worldwide India '09 was an evening of ultimate entertainment. Of course it was full of suspense! Anxiety pervaded back stage. The hosts of the evening - Neha Dhupia & handsome Rahul Khanna did a great job. The 20 beauties entered the stage on Euphoria's Miss India song performed live. Yana Gupta gave a surprise performance on hit numbers like Baabuji and the men in the audience couldn't help dropping their jaws. Katrina Kaif, adorned the 'Teri Ore' look- the sexy saree and ruled the stage with songs from 'Race' & 'Singh is King'. Apparently, Kareena was the queen of heartsDressed in golden shimmer, she enchanted the audience with her moves. The jury consisted of eminent personalities like Milind Soman, Rina Dhaka & Madhur Bhandarkar. The stage was style sparked with the girls wearing evening gowns by Cue- Rohit Gandhi & Rahul Khanna and sarees by M- Madhu Jain & Milind Soman. There were indeed some hilarious onstage goof ups- that's part of the experience of watching the live version! J It was tough competition and the results were unexpected for most of us- Deepthi Varghese won the crown and will represent India at the worldwide level in Johannesburg; Surbhi Mishra & Rucha Gawas were the 1st & the 2nd Runner Up respectively.
