At least a million movies have been made about lovers from two rival gangs fall in love with each other, in every movie industry, thanks to Romeo and Juliet. Here we have Ammiraju (Mukesh Rishi) and Bhikshapati (Kota Srinivas Rao), a blind man whose son Bhavani (Abhimanyu Singh) has taken over the mantel of terror. He has a sister Sravanthi (Pragathi) who has been kidnapped by Ammiraju who wants to use her as a pawn to win the gang war. Unfortunately though, he has a son educated in US who doesn't like this and after a justification from his father actually falls in love with the girl. A little like Lima Syndrome falling for the girl in captivity.

From his name Vijay, to his role, everything offered to Shreyaan, Jayasudha's son is absolutely cliched. His heroine is too young and inexperienced for a role like this. Produced and directed by Vasu Manthena, the movie is a dud with neither emotions that stir you or comedy that pleases you. The cinematography and music too fair to assist the director who has surprisingly picked a very routine story for his debut vehicle. As if that was not enough, we also have to bear some double meaning dialogues in the name of humour from Sapthagiri which are borderline ridiculous. While the movie had good character artists it doesn't give them much to do. Audience can pretty much guess what's happening half hour into the movie and the script writer or dialogue writer has hardly put in any effort to surprise them!
