The only reason why I was excited about Big Game was because of Samuel Jackson. But as the title suggests, I was pleasantly surprised to see that Samuel Jackson was shadowed by the child actor Onni. If you are a big fan of Samuel Jackson & expected something huge from him, you might be dissatisfied but overall, Big Game is too much fun. It’s about the president of the United States (Samuel Jackson) & this small kid Oskari. President is attacked, is forced to get down on the ground in an unknown land. His enemies are everywhere & his only ray of hope is Oskari. He’s a brave kid, wanting show his tribe that he’s an adult by showing his hunting skills. The story of Big Game is not extra ordinary but its entertaining & fun. If you like the usual Bollywood ‘Masala’ films, you’ll love Big Game. Samuel Jackson is perfect for the role of the president whereas the kid Onni is more perfect for his role. Acting wise, Samuel Jackson has a very little variety to show here & is overshadowed by Onni. The whole set up is brilliant & so is the execution. Effects are wonderful & background score of the film suits it well. I also watched Tomorrowland this week & if you want some fast, fun, entertaining stuff this week from Hollywood, then please go for Big Game.
