“Despite a predictable story and narration, Allari Naresh and Karthika's comic chemistry keeps the pace engaging. Brother Of Bommali may be a routine rom-com, but works because of its talented cast. One time watch.”

Although you’d expect the lead roles to be lovers, this film surprises you to learn that Ramki (Allari Naresh) and Lucky (Karthika) are twins who differ in every aspect. While Ramki is a loves to be a simple happy go lucky guy while his sister is a likes to live on the edge of everyday. When Ramki falls in love with his colleague Shruthi (Monal Gajjar) and revels about his affair to his parents, Ramki’s father lays a condition that unless his sister gets married, he cannot tie the knot. But it’s not an easy task to get that daredevil hitched! And hence the name of the film Brother of Bommali, bommali reminding us of Anushka’s nemesis the super hit film Annasuya.
The comedy angle between Naresh and Karthika brings the standard Allari-baggage along with them. He continues to please his audience with the same old hat tricks every film and despite a few misses, he keeps trying his luck. This film seems a little more promising thanks to the sincerity with which he plays it sometimes over shadowing the arch-eyebrowed girl Kritika herself. The film is comfortably paced and gives the standard Allari recipe of comedy, romance and fun elements. Vennela Kishore gives one of the memorable parts of the flim.
Cliches however are abundantly found in formula flicks like these. The film wraps itself up quickly after the climax. Most goodlooking faces in the film have not much role, ex. Monal Gajjar and Harshvardhn Rane.
All in all, it’s a typical allari Naresh film and watch it if you must.
