Love movie, shahrukh's forte, he can play a love character while sleeping too. And he does that same again effortlessly. What this love story has more to offer is, where the love stories ends, it starts there, and hence is never larger-than-life of what you see in love story.
The film starts with friends telling about a perfect love story. The movie moves in the story then. Raj Malhotra (Shahrukh Khan) is a owner of ,transport
corporation, he is not so rich but happy with his life. He comes across Priya Chopra (Rani Mukherjee) through a car accident. Just seeing her, he fells in
love with her. While giving her a lift to attend a wedding, their friendship develop. Songs, jokes and they catch their ways. Raj misses the contact
number of Priya, so tries hard to find her. All his friends, landlord helps him out to find her. He comes to know that Priya is getting married when Priya tells him that they should have met before.
Now like other story, hero manages to convince the heroine, and Rani breaks her marriage with the fiancee and marries Raj. Now the actually story starts. After getting married, they come to know the small-small things about themselves, which makes them squabble every now and then. While Priya
is disciplined, organised, Raj is lazy, disheveled. Opposites can't stand each other and fights keep continiuing. Will these fights lead to eventual break-up of relation or the actual love will stand these petty differences.
Rani brings out a very convincing performance with this role. Shahrukh too plays the role of husband decently, different from what he has been doing till now.
The movie is funny, melodramatic and joy ride. The best part about Aziz's Mirza direction is the simplicity with which the movie is shot. Brings out a very simple romantic fun story and the music is very soothing and melodious.view less
