Reese Witherspoon is deeply embarrassed by her misconduct

Hollywood star Reese Witherspoon was taken into custody along with her husband on Friday in Atlanta for being suspicious in drunk driving case. The actress behaved badly when her hubby, Jim Toth was stopped by the cops and yelled, “Do you know my name?” the officer refused to acknowledge her, she answered, "You're about to find out who I am. ... You are going to be on national news."

Reese has apologised for her behaviour and made a statement, “Out of respect for the ongoing legal situation, I cannot comment on everything that is being reported right now," she said. "But I do want to say, I clearly had one drink too many and I am deeply embarrassed about the things I said.” The actress was supposed to appear on the NBC'sLate Night With Jimmy Fallonin the wake of her arrest but now she has cancelled that. She also called off theMudpress junket in New York on Monday.
