Verdict

“Delivery Man tries to be a feel-good movie but fails due to a predictable story, mundane drama and very few laughs. The charming Vince Vaughn is its sole savior, making it a one time watch.”

Delivery Man is a slow stodgy movie about a guy who has donated sperm to a clinic which gave it out indiscriminately. Result? He is the father of 520 kids. These kids are all out looking for him since they feel a vacuum in their lives since they don’t know their biological father. (I pity the poor dads who are not the biological ones but who brought them up as their own. You don’t hear or see them in this movie and the way these kids behave you would thing they were orphans or something, they look that needy).

So the basic premise is funny and can evoke quite a few laughs. But  instead it is boring, no thanks to the lead actor Vince Vuaghn who takes his loser guy role most seriously and makes you dislike him. His lawyer friend who fights in the Court to prevent his identity from being made public provides the only funny moments. Bu that’s for about 20 minutes. Which doesn’t justify the Rs.450 that INOX charged for this movie (not including the money we spent on water, Pita bread and hummus and tea).

Go watch Vicky Donor for the umpteenth time instead.
