Amrita Rao is a close relative of Guru Dutt

On the occasion of legendary actor-director Guru Dutts 87th birth anniversary today, Vivah actress Amrita Rao has revealed that the creative genius was her blood relative. The actress said that though she was a big fan of the creative genius and aspired to become an actress taking inspiration from his films, she didnt know this truth about her life. The actress grandmother told her much later that her grand father and Guru Dutt were second cousins. Amrita said, "Perhaps subconsciously I've learnt the importance of being earnest to my work from him".
