I entered the theatre with a ear to ear smile on my face and a childlike sparkle in my eyes while watching Fantastic Beasts! After so many years, happiness can be found even in the darkest of times, if one only remembers to turn on the light, but this time happiness came with a cauldron full of expectations, which this movie doesn't really meet.

Ofcourse you'll feel the rush when the classic symphony of the potter series plays in the background, the charms, magic and spells, all take you back in time, but only for a few seconds. Eddy as Newt and Katherine as Tina try really hard to shoulder the movie, but Dan Fogler as Jacob is the real entertainer. Johny Depp as Grindelwald has a blink and miss appearnace. Ezra Miller as Credence is a surprise package.

But in total, the effects, art work and entire feel of the potter series is now a thing of the past. No one can meet that magic again, even David Yates couldn't, who has the legac of his own work in the HP series.

The cutest beast is Pickett, perhaps a tiny plant like creature with a soft stem and a bout full of emotions. Flack doesn't make up for the Phoenix, and a mere mention of Dumbledore raises your heartbeat, but there's nothing like Harry Potter, NOTHING!

Potterheads shouldn't go with a jar of expectation to watch this film. But yeah, after all this while, you secretly know you HAVE to watch it.
