    Leonardo DiCaprio to reunite with Jamie Foxx in Mean Business on North Ganson Street’s film adaptation

    A successful journey has kickstarted for Greg Silvermanfollowing his promotion at Warner Bros. to run the production unit worldwide. His company has acquired the film rights ofS. Craig Zahler’s crime novel Mean Business on North Ganson Street, which will bring back Django Unchained stars Leonardo DiCaprio and Jamie Foxx together once again.

    Penned by Zahler, the project will be jointly produced by DiCaprio and his Appian Way partner Jennifer Davisson Killoran. In the adaptation DiCaprio will essay a hardcore detective’s role who thinks his wife has fled off with his money, after being informed that his beautiful wife is missing. The detective is sent to a town called Victory in Missouri where crimes are parts of daily lives. He gets almost a similar partner detective (Foxx) who got a demotion after he brutally assaulted a suspect in front of the public.

    But in the new locale, they get engaged in some serious work. While Foxx will be seen next in White House Down along with Channing Tatum, Leonardo will come onscreen with Martin Scorsese-directed The Wolf Of Wall Street. Meanwhile Appian Way is faring well in the production business as they have got projects like Ben Affleck’s adaptation of Dennis Lehane’s novel Live By Night, The Wolf Of Wall Street, Brad Furman-directed Runner Runner with Affleck, Justin Timberlake, Gemma Arterton and Anthony Mackie and the Scott Cooper-directed Out Of The Furnace.
