Dominic and Letty seem to be settled, taken a break from the game, ad have found the approximation of what life of normal people actually is.  Life is completely normal until, a sibylline and mysterious cyber terrorist Cypher who seduces Dominic, drags him into the world of crime makes him go against his family. He is put into something, he can’t escape easily.

With each new Fast and the Furious installment, the expectations are high, each movie is a big success and has all the ingredients of a Hollywood action movie, globe-trotting action scenes and picturesque locations. With the eighth one you expect it to continue the series’ successful growth all through these years. But Fate Of The Furious, lies flat.

The narrative has also shifted into a new direction, and moves forward without one of its original stars Paul Walker. It surely isn’t as emotional as the 7th one, and not as awesome as the first part was. Also, You miss Han in this one. The wry smile and cold stare.

Somewhere we can credit Vin Diesel with Dwayne Johnson, Jason Statham and the rest of the team to manage to keep our eyes glued to the screen just for the madness they create throughout the film. What bind the movie are super-fast cars and bikes, action packed chases in exotic locations.

Charlize Theron makes a terrific villain, as the ice-cold Cipher, and doesn’t get caught in the end. Brace yourselves people, there is going to be a Fast and Furious 9 too!

Taking the reins from Justin Lin, Gary Gray has done some sincere efforts. This one isn’t spinning its wheels, but it’s not exactly moving forward either.
