Hancock was a pretty interesting as well as entertaining movie. It definitely wasn't your typical superhero movie; and it wasn't originally a DC or Marvel comic. It's more about what would happen if someone with superheroes was around in modern times, and that is what makes it interesting. Moreover, it's a Hollywood blockbuster with Wil Smith in. Get over it, turn your brain off, and sit back and enjoy the ride.
John Hancock (Will Smith) is an unkempt, crude, mannerless and cynical superhero. But his services come with a hefty price tag, as he uncaringly and accidentally destroys millions of dollars worth of property in the process of stopping armed madmen. In walks Ray Embrey (Jason Bateman), a PR guy with no luck trying to sell his revolutionary yet profitless ideas to major moneymaking corporations. When his life is saved by the destructive Hancock, he offers his services to help redefine Hancock's less-than-perfect public image. Then there Ray's mysterious wife Mary (Charlize Theron).
Overall Hancock is worth seeing because of the impressive performances by the cast who make it with your time. If you're a fan of Will Smith or you're just looking for a movie with some action and humor you can't go wrong with Hancock.view less
