No decision over Rowdy Rathore prequel-sequel yet

Despite the rumours that the filmmakers will announce the prequel of Akshay Kumars recent blockbuster Rowdy Rathore at the movies success party, the producers Siddharth Roy Kapoor of UTV Motion Pictures and Sanjay Leela Bhansali are still undecided about it. Though Kapoor has not denied the reports of making of a sequel he said, There are a lot of interesting thoughts about what we should be doing - sequel, prequel, etc. But I think it's important for Sanjay, Prabhu Deva and us to really sit down and discuss on what we do and obviously along with Akshay take a call on what's next". The success bash of the film, which has already garnered around Rs.115 crore at the box office, held at Taj Land's End was attended by the lead actors, Akshay Kumar and Sonakshi Sinha, producers Bhansali and Kapoor and director Prabhu Deva. While Akshay chose to wear a simple black shirt-pant for the event, leading lady Sonakshi looked stunning in a short black dress. Responding to noted filmmaker Vidhu Vinod Chopra's recent comment that rubbish films are making Rs.100 crore, Bhansali said, "He (Chopra) is my mentor. If he said something, I am happy". Akshay also seems unperturbed about the comment. He said, "I feel that whatever he wanted to say, he said. But I have watched Ferrari Ki Sawaari and I liked that". After the super success of his first two Bollywood ventures Wanted and Rowdy Rathore, director Prabhu Deva said, "I am very happy that both my films crossed the Rs.100 crore mark. Now I am scared of making my third film as people's expectations have increased." Expressing her reaction about the success of the film, Sonakshi said, she is happy that Rowdy Rathore maintained her success at the box office after Dabangg. She said, "I want all my films to do well, so I keep my fingers crossed".
