Verdict

“Irukku Aana Illa isn't a bad film by any stretch of imagination but lacks the consistent bite that suspense thrillers belonging to this genre are expected to possess.”

Irukku Aana Illai, comedy-thriller directed by debutant K M Saravanan and produced by Varam Creations. This so called comedy-thriller movie stars Vivanth and Eden in the main lead role while Manisha Shree, Y.G. Mahendran and Aadhavan played other pivotal roles.

The lead, Venkat (Vivanth) who is labelled as loser in his life and he is unable to meet success. He meets a ghost girl after an accident, Divya (Eden) who brings luck in his life but her presence results a lot of mysteries. Ghost part created very well so that anyone can fall in love with.  The story later expands to give why the beautiful ghost, Divya is behind of Venkat and the mystery, which has been seen in many Tamil movies leads to the climax. A suspense thriller which is well narrated, but pace of the movie test the viewer a big time. The movie begins well and loses momentum as it progresses.

Newcomer Vivanth make good screen presence and looks impressive as innocent boy and the chemistry of lead pair is impressive. Aadhavan tries his best to evoke some humour while Y G Mahendra in a character role excels. Shammeer composed the music while cinematography is handled by Kris. A. Chandar. The editing is done by S. P. Ahmed. The music is not bad, but songs are placed at unwanted places to spoil the plot and BGM flows well with the story. Suspense is the charm of every thriller movie, but the director failed to maintain it.  Watch it at your own risk!
