Generally for a film like this the audiences are made of people associated with the film. I was the only exception watching this movie. During the interval one guy went on and on bragging about how he made the release of this film possible. After listening to his running commentary about I, me, myself the guy he was talking to said “yaar story achchi hai, no one killed Jessica ban sakti thi par execution achcha nahi haiâ€.
Toh story yeh hai ki an MLA's son's( Ajay Shukla) girlfriend (Neelambari Perumal) is gang raped in Delhi. How he and his friends Goldy Sumal (whose face book id says that he hates Hippocrates), Parash Singh Minhas seek justice against the person who did it who happens to me a chief justice's son is what this film is about. But, before we get to this story we painfully have to see the friend's back story, their college days, their aspirations and what they eventually become after college is over.
This film has amateur written all over it's running time. It has terrible acting by all except Neelambari who is half decent amongst them. The lead actor Ajay Shukla provides the much needed unintentional humour in the film. The poster says it is based on a true event and the innovative way these people come up with to avenge the gang rape is something which makes my mind boggles. I didn't know whether to laugh, cry or be amused.
Final few words - Jeet Lengey Jahan is another addition to the haloed list of films that only a few dared to watch.
