There were two things that actually motivated me to watch this film. First, the synopsis didn't have the line "its a love story...". Second, the runtime was just around 95 minutes and I thought there is not much to screw up. Surprisingly, first half was fairly engaging and kept the suspense going. Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that this is a crime thriller film. The second half was a let down and looked rushed, but overall it was a pretty decent attempt.

You are in love and plan to run away from home. You get into the car and hit the road. On the way, you see a man asking for a lift. You ignore him. He follows you and asks for help again, few kilometres ahead. Now, you might feel sympathetic and give him a ride. Who is this man? What's his story? That's pretty much the base plot of the film. Suppose he is a psychopath, who has escaped from a mental hospital and also has a criminal record for killing his wife. What happens now? Go watch it yourself or imagine the movie youself with the hints I gave above.

Technically, the film looked good. A pretty decent script and the screenplay was fairly engaging in the 1st half. It makes you think about this man a couple of times, that's good for a thriller. The film starts off with a song in a dhaaba. I kept wondering if it has any connection with the movie. Also, the title didnt make any sense. The screenplay could have been a bit better in the 2nd half. A bit of intelligence could have made it a neat thriller. Some investigation scenes looked very amateurish. At least they could have  watched a few crime shows in Star world and taken some inspiration, then it would have been gripping.

I was very impressed with the music and BGM in rhe first half. It neatly sets up the mood for this highway thriller. A couple of songs were good too. But the BGM got a bit repetitive and the hard beats gave me a slight headache. A mix of soft and hard music would have been good. The cinematography was of high quality. The camera placement, the bird's eye view shots, the character framing between the barricades were a few examples of good work behind the lens. Editing was good, cant complaint at all for the 95 mins runtime.

The performances was quite decent. The actors who played the couple did a good job. They looked natural and did perform well. The psychopath character performed well. The facial expressions and body language was rugged. The cop in mynaa played the cop in this film. He didn't quite fit into the character of a cool cop. I almost forgot the small role played by Pooja. She plays the wife of the psychopath and eventually gets killed. She was sweet, calm and did her part with ease.

Overall a pretty decent thriller in bits and parts. It looks bearable due to the tight runtime of 95 mins. Quite a decent film, technically and performance wise too. A bit of intelligent writing could have made the film more gripping. But its a bit of fresh air from the routine love stories and revenge dramas.
