Plot: Kadhal Mudichu is a tribute to yesteryear actresses now forgotten by the media and the masses. In the film Akbar Ahmed (Prithviraj) is a highly successful director who wants base his next film on the life of yesteryear actress Malavika (Priyamani). While tracing her whereabouts he finds her diaries which show her whirlwind romance, marriage and consequent break up and its affect on her career. Akbars effors to find Malavika form the plot of the film.
