For very few films, the title says is correctly depicted in the film. The film director Rakesh literally asks from the bottom of his heart Kaho na pyaar hai, because such a wonderful film can be made only from the heart. The heart of a pure person. Launching his son Hrithik Roshan, a power performer and true potential to look forward to, Rakesh shows that if the films are made with simplicity and honesty they can look so good even if there is no different story.
Rohit (Hrithik's first role), lives with his younger brother at an aunty's place (Farida Jalal), husband Satish Shah, and has a hard life making ends meet. He is potential singer and musician, and works part time in automobile company as a salesman. Sonia (Amisha Patel), daughter of a rich guy, Anupam Kher, fells in love with Rohit when she sees him singing. They go on a cruise and there are some takraar, and love. They end up losing on an island and some very beautiful romantic moment. Now, Anupam has some objections about her marriage with rohit and asks him to be successful. Now an event is organised where Rohit will perform. Preparations are on, meanwhile Rohit sees a killing of police commissioner by people who work for Sirjee, Anupam. Anupam asks to kill Rohit, and now Rohit is gone, and it looks like an accident.
Amisha is shattered and lost. Anupam decides to send her to New Zealand, and as destiny plays its part there is second role of Hrithik, Raj Chopra. He is introduced with a rocking song and dance number. My God, this song was a revelation and everyone tried dancing like Hrithik. Now Raj fells for Sonia, but Sonia finds it even more disturbing. Sonia leaves for India and Raj pursues her there.
The movie is so brilliant, so entertaining. The music has never been so great. And above all, there never has been such a powerful entry of a newcomer as of Hrithik. He is the one who is all about Kaho Na Pyaar Hai. Wonderful looks, too good build, he truly matches Rambo in the last fight scenes and above all his dancing, which completely went with the wonderful music.
Trust me, even if you don't believe in love, you will after watching this movie and truly fell in awe for Hrithik.view less
