SRK says Priyanka will always be close to his heart

After Priyanka Chopra accepted it openly that he will always be friends with BollywoodBadshahShah Rukh Khan irrespective of what he thinks about her, the superstar now said that the beautiful actress will always be close to his heart. Not long ago, Chopra was cornered by sections of Bollywood following her alleged affair with the King Khan. At a recent event, Shah Rukh said, "I Feel extremely sorry, for she (Priyanka) wasn’t shown the respect I show her, or other women. Priyanka Chopra is one of the closest friends that I have, she is very close to my heart, and always will be."

According to sources, a fan of Priyanka made a CD of the interview and sent it to Priyanka, who is currently in Hyderabad to shoot forZanjeerremake. "She was touched by the fan’s gesture," said a source close to her.
