The credits have her name all alone, the men get a secondary collective billing. The film has her in double role, competing with herself to expose more. The USP of the film has been she and her assets. Sunny Leone has well and truly arrived in Bollywood. Ek Paheli Leela, a bad film in essence, is the perhaps the largest her career will see.

Sunny plays a film star in modern times, who suddenly is reminded of her being a desi girl in her past life through songs and flashes of memory that mainly constitute of her making out with men in ethnic wear. Why the past birth decided to interfere with the present one is what the film pretends to tell you, the real reason is just to let you have twice as much of Sunny.

As a star, yes she already is irrespective of the fate of her movies, this film is Sunnny's moment under the sun. She is confident, at ease with the part, her lines in the perfect firang accent of her's enough to get full grown men fantasising, her clothes barely managing to cover her ample assets, and that innocent face the belies the come hither body under it- Sunny knows what sells and takes full advantage of it.

To help her is the grand scale on which the film is mounted, vibrant colors, sets that remind one of a Bhansali film (also cause of the dholi tharo song) and costumes that look straight out a garden vareli ad, only infinitesmally smaller, Ek Paheli Leela spells grandeur in every frame.

What the film unsurprisingly does not have is acting , or story telling, or any other craft other than titilation. The male actors serve the only purpose of being the wood for Sunny (pun intended), the lines are corny, the scenes are placeholders between make out sessions, the songs hummable and there only to let us see Sunny in her element. Everything else is not important for the maker. Thankfully everything else is also not what one should be expecting to see when venturing into the hall for this film.

If this is your idea of a movie weekend, go for it- the thrill of watching a film that you will forever diss and disassociate from cause it is "cheap" is priceless isnt it.
