Lyricist Kaviraj's debutant venture treds the familiar path to provide audiences their ticket of entertainment. That Love is not all primrose path in films is to state the obvious. So too the cupid struck pair in Kaviraj's Maduveya Mamatheya Kareyole go through the proverbial pains and pangs before the final denouement.

How two neighbours, who are thick as thieves friends, turn foes due to egoistic and petty issues, and turn friends again, even as their two wards Kushi and Suraj go through heartbreaks and happiness forms the fulcrum of Maduveya. How the partings and meetings go on ad nauseum before the climax as both the families, the elders as also the love-struck couple, go through their vanity trips, makes Maduveya a mundane, but smile on lips watch.

With nothing expected Kaviraj's Maduveya does for an easy watch. Despite its nonsensical plot, twists and turns, the film brings smiles and tears to the viewers. While Golden Queen gorgeous Amulya essays her tomboyish role to perfection, a role which he does once too often, new comer Suraj stutters but shows promise. Seasoned veterans Anant Nag, Achyut Kumar, prove their class with the rest of the cast too chipping in with equal ease.

Though lavishily shot and are a sight for sore eyes, the songs (lyrics by Kaviraj) and V Harikrishna's music is a tad wanting and hard on the ears. Nothing stays long after the curtains come down. Take the invitation and may be this wedding may be one you could feast upon and come satiated.
