plot

The plot is about a girl who is on a hunt to find her Mr Right and meets four guys. Kavi Shashtri is also a part of it. He will play the role of Shaunit, a young guy, who is very chilled out and has a laid back attitude in life.

Verdict

“Shenaz Treasurywala is the one (barely) right thing in an otherwise wrong film ”

There is nothing I could say that could express the desperation I felt when this movie wouldn't end. I like Shenaz quite a lot, but even she wasn't able to keep me from disliking this three houred randomness. The story is about a wannabe group of friends who live a pretentious life and do pretentious things till a guy comes along and sets everything right by turning everything wrong.

The only thing I really liked about this movie was Shenaz's styling. My interest stopped there. Even though it's a very girly thing to observe, I'm just going to say it : the make-up artist did a pathetic job with all the actresses. When I looked at them I could see cakes of make-up.

The story was a little bit of a drag and even though the way it was narrated was novel, it didn't quite work for me. This movie reminded me very strongly of Amit Sahni Ki List, though it was a notch better than that. The acting, the direction and the music wasn't interesting. Maybe if this movie were a novel, I'd read it on a rainy day having chai and pakodas, but as far as recommending this movie to others is concerned, it's a big fat NO.

There's one good thing about this movie though! At the end, it delivers a message for us to stay happy and spread cheer. That is the only likable bit. Save yourself a trip to the cinemas and go splurge in Zara instead!
