I don't know how many of you had the great misfortune of watching Dr. Anuuj Saxena's previous release 'Chase', a genuine "WTF" movie which provided me with two hours of unintentional hilarity. The advantage of having watched 'Chase' is that I feel kinder towards Saxena's latest offering as producer, 'Miley Na Miley Hum', which might not make me laugh unintentionally, but surely works wonders as a sleeping pill.
The imaginatively named Chirag (Chirag Paswan), comes from a broken marriage but is on fairly good terms with both his parents. While his parents respectively choose polar-opposite women as prospective brides for him, he hires, Anishka (Kangana Ranaut) to act as his girlfriend, in order to ward off the attempts of his parents. As usual what starts off as a business arrangement between the two will turn to pleasure & the two will fall in love. Sorry if I'm ruining the suspense for you but seriously what do you expect. Oh and the boy is nuts about tennis, so be prepared to sit through some badly shot and choreographed matches.
The movie is honestly duller than watching paint dry. The leads can't even generate enough spark to light a match to save their lives. Some horribly written dialogues and off background score only send this down the abyss further. The tennis scenes like I said earlier are very poorly choreographed & can be a real pain to sit through though they are still better than the lifeless songs that abound the movie.
Chirag Paswan looks like Vatsal Seth's poor cousin and does the unimaginable task of making the latter look like an accomplished actor. Kangana can never seem to shake off that horrid accent while the other two girls are just about passable though they barely have a few scenes.
This is one hell of a dull, boring and lifeless movie which lacks any real romance or anything else it might try to generate. Avoid at all costs, anywhere & everywhere.
