The ensemble cast of Konkona Sen Sharma, Raima Sen, Boman Irani, Shreyas Talpade, Arunoday Singh, Shahana Goswami, Rajpal yadav, Sushant Singh, Ila Arun, Pitobash and Prem Chopra try to make the casting attractive but sadly doesnt work for the audience. As a Vinay Shukla's comeback movie after a disastrous plot Koi Mere Dil Se Poochhe which bombed on the movie theaters in 2002.
Arunoday Singh plays Maanav who is a struggling filmmaker and even takes as long as two years to find a taker for his script. His girlfriend Shahana Goswami plays Ruchis character, who is a film editor and tries desperately to arrange a meeting with Sushant Singh as Nitin a film producer. So Nitin doesnt find a viable script and thus Manav narrates a complete story to both Nitin about Maya Raima Sen, the story is about a plought about a wife who gets away after being caught red handed with another man. Arunoday Singh gets to play the husbands character Kashi who is Rajpal Yadav. And so the story develops into a different plot that seems to be as confusing as it can be.
Of all the four stories in the movie by Vinay Shukla's, the first two are set in the ancient times and are for a change smartly written. The twists and turns are witty and palpable. Only what they score on is the humour quotient ably supported by the well timed dialogues.
