Anurag Basu is not coming back on idiot box via Prison Break

Barfi! director Anurag Basu has brushed away all the rumours of him making a comeback on television with an adaptation of an international serial, Prison Break. The director tweeted that he has no thoughts about directing a TV serial for now. Anurag had started his career being an Assistant Director in Tara, a soap opera. Later he went on to direct serials like; Saturday Suspense, Ajeeb Dastaan, horror X-Zone are few to be named.

Anurag has always followed a different league of his own whether it’s about the kind of films that he makes or the genre of TV serials that he made earlier. He went behind the camera to give hit flicks like Gangster, Life in a... Metro and many more and almost all his films have managed to rule at the box office. We wish Anurag to make a serial soon for his fans as his soap operas are still remembered by his lovers on television.
