Die Hard had a huge impact on action films in Hollywood. The effect still hasnt worn off, sadly so, as amply exhibited by Olympus has Fallen. copying elements from the series to the smallest detail possible, OHF might as well be called Die Hard 6.
Gerald Butler is a ex bodyguard who manages save the president of USA in an accident but is unable to save the Prez's wife. Guilt ridden he quits, only to find eventually that he is the only inside guy who can save the world when a terror group takes the prez hostage for nuke codes.
Been there seen that is the only thin you would be able to say whilst yawning through this excruciatingly painful ordeal. Actors like Butler and Freeman are wasted, perhaps in the movie only o make some moolah. There is an overdose of silly stupid action sequences that only elicit a severe sense of de ja vu. Absolutely no ingenuity and originality, the film drags on and on till the end credits roll.
Take a long look at yourself and the ticket before you actually venture in to watch this one. A waste of time money and everything else.
