Pitch Perfect 2 is a sequel to the 2012 release, Pitch Perfect about the high octane world of a cappella bands from the said Varden University. A Cappella mainly involves singing and creating a background sound using your mouth only. With an usual twist, the Barden Bellas go on to win the champions' title and steal the show.

Now, after being constant victors straight three times in a row the Bellas mess up the President's birthday function by a wardrobe malfunction while performing. With the overwhelming press coverage and the stunned reactions at the event, the Bellas get suspended and now have to earn their second chance by winning the Wold Capella Championship which is set to take place at Copenhagen, Denmark.

There's booing and humiliating and series of hurtful events; but this is the time when the Bellas actually need to bond and strengthen their sisterhood as they get ready to conquer the world. Will they succeed? The film has some beautiful musical moments that light up the entire film and brighten your mood.

Now the wounded soldier's plot has been done to death along with girl gang rocking the camps and stages to win back their identity, their passion, their love. Therefore, Pitch Perfect 2 fails to make an impact. Honestly, the sequel was totally uncalled for because the seen success was a part of the momentum.

Yet, I'd say that the film has it's own moments that make it a delightful watch. Just not worth putting in as much time for the same. With random and flawed writing there's not much that debut Director Elizabeth banks could do about the situation to help it in anyway. But wait, the third part of the trilogy is on it's way with a 2017 release on the cards!
