The film starts with killing of a girl in Ooty, who when detected by police helped by a professor, played by Ashutosh Rana, seems to be an evil spirited work . Sanjana Dhanraj (Bipasha Basu) and Aditya Dhanraj (Dino Morea) wants to make their marriage work, moves to Ooty for a holiday. Before the love is rekindled and things are settled, Sanjana keeps hearing some mysterious voices and events happening around her, from the forest nearby her resort. Her maid tells her, that the maids' husband too used to hear these voices and ran away one day. She seeks Ashutosh's advice on this, and they both together call the spirit again, to realise that the spirit is of a girl who was been sent to mental asylum by her father before she ran here and got killled. Meanwhile, she comes to know that Aditya had visited this place earlier.
Great performance by Bipasha Basu, as a fed up wife to a horrified one. She understands the nuances of acting well, inspite of lookng great. Dino does a fine act. Ashutosh is awesome with the act of professor. The spirit girl Malini too pulls a fine act.
The music and background score goes very well with the film.
A very gripping and intriguing story, with some spine-chilling scenes. Not many times you see a geniune horror film in bollywood. The thrilling factor is kept alive till the end. Kudos to Vikram Bhatt for that. This suspense filled horror is a good one to watch for.view less
