Plot: An old couple Pradhan and Pragitis son dies in a mugging incident in New York after which they lose their only source of income. They rent out a room to a budding film actress Sujata, who has an affair with Vilas, the son of an influential minister. Vilas lacks the guts to tell his father that he wants to marry pregnant Sujata. Pradhan gets involved by speaking to Vilas father with a secret motive in mind.
