Shah Rukh Khan to come up in an entire new avatar in Chennai Express

Since a long time now the huge fanclub of Bollywood’s badshah Shah Rukh Khan has been eagerly waiting for his upcoming film Chennai Express. Here comes the latest reports that the king of Bollywood will sport a whole new look in the forthcoming action comedy flick.

The reports about SRK’s new avatar were revealed by celebrated critic Taran Adarsh after he attended a special screening of the Rohit Shetty-directed film. He disclosed that SRK has undergone a complete makeover from his traditional romantic image. The screening also witnessed the presence of SRK himself and Ameesha Patel. The trailer of the film, which also stars Deepika Padukone, will be launched on June 13.

Taran tweeted, “#ChennaiExpress comes across as a complete departure from the romantic films SRK is known for. He enters the hardcore action territory.” According to Taran, this film is destined to prove a hattrick for Deepika, who has already rocked the box-office this year with her blockbusters Race 2 and Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, so far. Taran also praised the film as an entity, "Songs are extremely novel, mass appealing, zany, wacky, amusing. Rohit Shetty is at his best, seems like."
