New brides Kareena, Esha and Genelia to observe their first Karva Chauth today

Many Bollywood heroines, including Kareena Kapoor, Esha Deol and Genelia D’Souza are celebrating their firstKarva Chauthtoday. According to sources, Kareena will be observing a fast for husband Saif Ali Khan’s well-being and the newly-wed couple is expected to spend the day together at their Mumbai house privately. A source said, “Kareena and Saif will be spending the day together as both of them have no work commitments today”. However, this would be her thirdKarva Chauthin total as she first observed the fast in 2010 for Saif. About Esha Deol, her mother and veteran actress Hema Malini said, “Esha will be observing the fast as this is her first Karva Chauth”. Besides the two, Genelia D’Souza will also be fasting but she chose to keep her plans under wraps. Other married actors namely, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Raveena Tandon and Shilpa Shetty will also observe the fast like every year.
