Cyclone Nilam fails to scare Mani Ratnam

Despite cyclone Nilam has hit Tamil Nadu’s coastal area, ace director Mani Ratnam didn’t cancel the shoot of his ambitious projectKadal. According to sources, the daring filmmaker went ahead and shot couple of sequences in the sea with his lead actors Thulasi and Gautham. A source said, Ratnam feels these scenes captured near the sea during the cyclone would work in the favor of the film’s success. Meanwhile music director of the film, AR Rahman, is planning to release its first single trackNenjukulley onNovember 3 on MTV. Rahman will be reportedly playing the song live onMTV Unpluggedat 8pm this Saturday.
