    Joining the league of legendary personalities from all over the world namely Lawrence Dallaglio, Lewis Moody, Jim Anderson and Darren Fitzpatrick, Bollywoods evergreen star Amitabh Bachchan will be carrying the Olympic torch in todays relay in London. In a big honour, the megastar has been invited by the London Olympic Organizing Committee to carry the torch on the eve of the opening ceremony of the games extravaganza. Mr. Bachchan shared this news on Twitter, saying, OK !! HERE IT IS: Have been invited by London Olympic Organizing Committee to carry the torch in the relay tomorrow (Thursday) .... He added, Honored to be asked to carry the Olympic Torch in London at Southwark around 10:30 AM !! A proud moment for me and country. Besides Big B, other Indian celebrities giving a desi touch to the mega event are Oscar-winner music maestro AR Rahman and noted South Indian composer Illaiyaraaja. Rahman has composed a track for the inaugural event in collaboration with Slumdog Millionaire fame filmmaker Danny Boyle, who is also overseeing the Opening ceremony. Rahman informed this on his Facebook page, "Clarifying the report on the Olympics track I am composing... It's a track in Punjabi celebrating the Indian influence in the UK. It's a part of a medley in the Olympics opening ceremony, according to Danny Boyle's creative wishes!". On the other hand, Illaiyaraaja's song is set to feature in the medley of music tracks to be used in the inaugural programme.
