Top Cat is an animated 3D movie. Given that the current crop of animated movies are so hi tech visually with fantastic special effects, Top Cat seems like a poor cousin. The animation is old fashioned, the colours are drab and the movie generally has a feel of something that has been restored from an older generation.
The story is about Tom Cat and his gang of cats and how they out wit the evil new police chief. The gags are not that funny though the story is fairly entertaining.
It is the holiday season and the kids may be getting in your hair. You could go for that reason alone.
