Wagah is a pathetically made patriotic film, which actually tries too hard to portray Pakistani army in bad light and at the same time, we Indian audiences are treated as jokers that a single army man Vasu (Vikram Prabhu) crosses the border with his lady love and comeback from the torture camp in Pakistan by destructing the army troops.

If what was shown in the film is true, we can send hundred well built tall guys like Vikram Prabhu from India and they will destroy the entire army of Pakistan. Also, the Pakistan army head has been portrayed like a ‘katta’ (Tamil) panchayat villain that he often screams at the heroine’s dad to find a Pakistani bridegroom and why he cares so much to get a wedding invitation.

The romantic angle in Wagah is downright bad that we couldn't even feel for Vikram Prabhu-Ranya pair. The heroine not only looks disconnected from the movie, her performance is appalling and the lip-sync is very poor.

The film’s music composer Imman seems to have stood and tried his best in damaging our eardrums in the climax of the movie. The cinematographer however stays honest and has done things, which bring authenticity to the film.

Till date, thought only Vijayakanth’s patriotic films are over the top but Wagah has proven me wrong!
