    The director-actress duo of Madhur Bhandarkar and Kareena Kapoor is leaving no stone unturned to promote their much-ambitious filmHeroine, which is releasing tomorrow. Besides appearing on various TV shows and other promotional activities, they have also been spotted seeking blessings of Lord Ganesha for the success of the movie. To promote the mega project, Madhur's wife and co-producer Renu Bhandarkar, had organised a special screening ofHeroinefor yesteryear actresses like Helen, Asha Parekh, Sadhana, Waheeda Rehman, Shammi Aunty, Sangeeta Bijlani. Bollywood superstar Salman Khan’s parents -- Salim Khan and Salma Khan -- and sister Alvira Agnihotri have also attended the screening at Ketnav’s here.

    According to sources, all the senior actresses were all praises for the film. "I think Kareena is the best actress of today's time,” veteran actress Asha Parekh stated. In the meantime, Kareena visited Siddhivinayak temple with Madhur to seek the blessings of lord Ganesha here. The filmmaker said, "We are happy that those who have watched Heroine at the trials, their response has been good. They are appreciating Kareena's work and the movie. I am Ganpati bappa's bhakt and I also insisted that Kareena come with me this time.”
