Aahana Kumra Has Learnt An Important Lesson From ‘Lipstick Under My Burkha’

The upcoming flick ‘Lipstick Under My Burkha’ has been in the news for quite some time now. It has been scrutinized by CBFC Chief Pahlaj Nihalani and its director, Alankrita Shrivastava, has been called a liar. The flick stars Aahana Kumra who recently spoke about the project and shared a valuable life lesson that she learnt from the film.

“I think change does not come in one day. Change takes place when you keep a keen eye on your own actions. This film has educated me not to judge anyone or at least try not to judge them”, said the actress. Aahana added that she makes sure the idea of judgment in her head is kept in check.

Talking about her character, Aahana shared that she plays a beautician, for which she attended a 10-day workshop. The actress also said that people have never seen this side of a woman’s story. The movie has four female leads whose stories are from a woman’s point of view.
