Aamir Khan’s Dhoom 3 release rescheduled?

The Christmas slot has always been lucky for Bollywood star Aamir Khan as he tasted success with all his Christmas-time films like 3 Idiots, Taare Zameen Par and Ghajini. That’s why he decided to maintain his tradition in releasing Dhoom 3 on December 25 this year.

But the actor has changed his mind now, if the buzz is to be believed. As per a tabloid, the Aamir Khan-Katrina Kaif starrer will now release on December 17 instead of the originally scheduled date. The date has been changed keeping the Christmas vacations in mind and no other major film is also due for release at that particular time.

An insider from the production house said, “The makers are still in two minds about deciding the exact date. The banner is also considering December 20 for the film’s release.” Produced by Aditya Chopra, this action thriller will be the third installment in the Dhoom series. While the first part saw John Abraham with negative vibes, in the second part Hrithik Roshan and Aishwarya Rai played the villainous roles. Abhishek Bachchan and Uday Chopra will be seen in their original roles in Dhoom 3, which also stars Jackie Shroff.
