So, we may have another Mr. Perfectionist in the Bollywood soon as 3 Idiots star Aamir Khans son Junaid is reportedly all set to enter the film industry with Rajkumar Hiranis next film Peekay. However, before you start to believe that Junaid will be debuting as an actor in the film, its important to make it clear that Aamirs son from his first wife Reena Dutta is not interested in acting right now and he will only be assisting Hirani behind the camera on his upcoming film Peekay, which stars Aamir and Anushka Sharma. According to sources, the 17 year old has had a fascination for filmmaking but before he could foray into Bollywood, he had to convince his father that he wouldnt neglect his studies. In the meantime Aamir, who yesterday met Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on manual scavenging issue, has received an assurance from both Singh and Union Minister Mukul Wasnik that the government will work to eliminate manual scavenging from the country at the earliest. The actor met the Prime Minister at his residence at 7, Race Course Road, and later on went to Shastri Bhawan to discuss the issue with Union Social Justice and Empowerment Minister Wasnik. Addressing the press later on, Aamir said, "Wasnik assured me that his ministry is already working on the matter and that both his ministry and the Prime Minister's Office will work to eliminate manual scavenging at the earliest". Whereas Wasnik said, "We believe that every person should have the right to live a life of dignity. The fact that even today, a section of our society works as manual scavengers, it is unfortunate for not only the society but for entire nation.I am glad that Aamir Khan has raised this issue and I believe that the way he has focused on the issue will help create awareness in the society on the matter and we will soon be free of this malpractice".
