Aamir’s ‘utmost experiment’ doesn’t go down well

Aamir’s ‘utmost experiment’ doesn’t go down well

While majority hailing the much talked about PK poster, there are some who find it obscene. Perfectionist Aamir who’s always been known to surprise people with innovation, this time went a step ahead and posed completely naked with only a vintage radio set covering his ‘humble parts.’ The talking PK standees put in some theatres were received with a group of women opposing it. Avoiding any sort of a ‘scene’, the owner of the theatre Manoj Desai, agreed to remove it.

The unique poster which created a drone of trends on the social media is still making a lot of news and noise. Mr. Perfectionist who usually refrains himself from any kind of controversy couldn’t help but do away with it this time. The poster in totality has been a winning asset to the film though. Releasing a brave and unique poster along with talking cut outs, team PK has made its intentions clear. Headed by none other than Raju Hirani, a compromise on quality will not be expected here. The idea of hitting the audience with a ‘bold but intriguing’ first look, the makers and the actor have struck gold right away. Just as they say, any publicity in B-Town is a welcome.

Produced by UTV, Vidhu Vinod Chopra and Raju Hirani, PK is set to hit the screens on December 19th. Christmas has always been a winning prospect for this ‘unconventional Khan’. While Dhoom 3 broke all box office records last year, 3 Idiots, Ghajini and Taare Zameen Par also made a fortune being Christmas releases. It’s going to be highly exciting to see if PK meets the same fate as these other Christmas releases have enjoyed.
