Abhishek Kapoor’s Fitoor set to go on the floors soon

Kai Po Che! director Abhishek Kapoor is geared up to begin his next directorial venture, Fitoor, as he has finalised the cast for his film. A lot of speculations were in the air regarding Fitoor’s casting and now the selection is completed to begin the production soon.

Fitoor is the Bollywood adaptation of Charles Dickens’ The Great Expectations. It features veteran actress Rekha, Aditya Roy Kapoor and Katrina Kaif in lead roles. A production by Siddharth Roy Kapur's UTV Motion Pictures, Fitoor’s script has been written by Supratik Sen and it will be co-produced by Abhishek's banner Guy In The Sky Pictures. Fitoor will be set in North India, including Delhi and Kashmir. Aditya will play the role of Noor, a Kashmiri, Katrina will play his lady-love Firdaus and Rekha will enact a moody begum. The movie will also have some foreign locations throughout the story. As a source quoted from the film, “Each one is a catalyst, but at the same time, a puppet in destiny's hand.”
