‘Acting Was More Challenging Than Playing Cricket’: Sachin Tendulkar

‘One man united his country’, that’s what the much awaited trailer of ‘Sachin: A Billion Dreams’ says about Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar. The exciting fact about the soon-to-be released biographical film is that the cricketer is making his acting debut with the movie. Talking about the flick, Sachin recently confessed that playing cricket isn’t as challenging as facing camera.

“For so many years, I did whatever I wanted to do and the camera captured that. Suddenly I was asked to do particular things and then the camera captured that, so it was a bit different for me. Believe me, the first option was better”, Tendulkar said at the launch event of Mumbai Half Marathon.

“Acting is not something that I dreamt of. Without any doubt, acting was more challenging than playing cricket. I enjoyed playing more”, he added. ‘Sachin: A Billion Dreams’ is helmed by British award winning director James Erskine.
