Actor Imran Abbas injures himself

After reports of Ranveer Singh and Katrina Kaif injuring themselves after falling off horses came out recently, Pakistani actor Imran Abbas has now metwith a similar accident. Imran, who made his Bollywood debut opposite Bipasha Basu in Creature 3D (2014), is currently shooting for his next, directed by Muzzafar Ali, in Lucknow. Last week, the actor lost his balance while shooting for a scene, and fell off a horse. The accident hurt his back so badly that he could not shoot for the next three days.

“A doctor was immediately called after the accident. The day’s schedule was also abruptly wrapped up as he was not in a condition to shoot. The doctor advised him bed rest, and informed him that if he continued to work, he would only strain is back further, and worsen the situation. The unit asked him to rest, and they didn’t shoot for three days,” says a source from the film’s unit. Imran will resume shooting for the film next week. “To cope with the delay, he will be working doubly hard to finish his scenes as he does not want to delay the schedule further,” adds the source. When contacted, Imran confirmed the news without revealing any details.
