Aditya Chopra desires to watch Dil Dhadakne Do

People know him to be media-shy and reclusive. But not many know that film-maker Aditya Chopra doesn’t even interfere with the careers of the actors associated with his production house. However, we have now come to know that the film-maker is apparently “very intrigued” by one of his talents, Ranveer Singh’s, next film.

“Generally, Aditya doesn’t react in such a manner to any film (not made under his banner), starring any of his talents, but this time around, he is impressed with the way Ranveer’s film (Zoya Akhtar’s next) is looking,” says an insider, adding, “He wants to see how Ranveer has played the character in the film.”

Ranveer, who started his film journey with Aditya’s production venture, Band Baaja Baaraat (2010), shares a great relationship with the film-maker. That’s why he’s excited to see how Ranveer has evolved as an actor in five years. Though it’s not confirmed yet, sources suggest that Aditya might watch the film at a private screening.

Although Aditya couldn’t be reached for a comment, the film’s spokesperson says, “All we can say is that Zoya and Ritesh (Sidhwani; producer of Ranveer’s film) have been inundated with requests to screen the film. Every actor (who is part of the project) is keen on showing the film to his or her family and friends.”
