Aishwarya Rai gifted with special Filmfare trophy

Bollywood diva Aishwarya Rai has been awarded with a special Filmfare’s trophy released to commemorate 100 years of Indian cinema. The gold base trophy was unveiled by theJodhaa Akbarstar herself on Wednesday and later she was awarded with the same.

An elated Aishwarya said that she feels honoured to receive the special trophy of the 58th Idea Filmfare Awards, which will be held on January 20 at the YRF Studios here. "I am feeling very special as this is going to be very different. For the first time, I don't have any nominations because I didn't have any releases last year because of the special reason of having Aaradhya," she said.

Ash added, "Despite having no nominations, I am officially taking home the black lady (Filmfare trophy). I have had the privilege of being nominated throughout the career.” Answering the question about her comeback to films, the former beauty queen said, "I cannot give you an exact date. There is no guarantee in a creative field... Whenever I come on board for any film, you all will get to know".
