Ajay Devgn Talks About Farhan Akhtar, Sanjay Dutt's Role In 'Jigarthanda' Remake

In Ajay Devgan’s next home production, actor Farhan Akhtar and Sanjay Dutt will be seen playing assistant director and a gangster respectively. It is said to be a remake of National Award winning Tamil film 'Jigarthanda'. The Tamil film, which has won National Award is going to be produced by Ajay and will be directed by Nishikant Kamat. Ajay had earlier worked with Nishikant in 'Drishyam', which was a thriller.

Ajay said in an interview, “I am producing the film and we are working on the script. It will start in January-February. It is inspired from Tamil film 'Jigarthanda' (released in 2014). It is a fabulous story. It is not going to be an exact copy of the film, we will change things. But at the same time, quite a lot of stuff will be similar”.

While asking about why he isn’t playing a lead role, Ajay said that I have my own production house and my team is planning to do some five-six films and to be very honest, I can't do all the films. Meanwhile, Ajay is gearing up for his upcoming film 'Golmaal Again', which is slated to release on October 20.
