Ajay Devgn has given his nod to the makers to remake the super hit Malayalam film Drishyam in Hindi. Ajay apparently has made way for the project delaying his own film Shivaay since he didn’t get his desired weather conditions. Drishyam will go on the floors this month and will release by October.

The film will be directed by Nishikant Kamat and Viacom 18 will produce the project. Ajit Andhare, COO of the production revealed, "Drishyam is an iconic film that keeps you intrigued long after you have watched it. Its box office record in South is stellar with lead role essayed by legends like Mohanlal and Kamal Hassan. VMP shares a special bond with Ajay, through our last film Son of Sardar. With Drishyam we are bringing strong content and top acting prowess together and we are looking to set a new record for the studio with this film that will be our tent pole for 2015."
