“Akshay Kumar is a disciplined professional” – Gabbar is Back villain Suman Talwar

When you go in to watch the upcoming Akshay Kumar action drama Gabbar is Back, you will probably be recognising the villain from Rajnikanth starrer Sivaji The Boss. Though he may appear to be a lesser known prodigy in Bollywood, actor Suman Talwar is nothing short of an ace cinematic villain down south.

Suman will be making his Hindi acting debut in Gabbar is Back. While he’s restrained himself to sign a Hindi film all the way, it is Akshay Kumar he credits for having brought him to the folds. Suman recently revealed, that it was Akshay who suggested his name for the villain’s role. The Telugu actor was too excited to be working with Akshay and have his consent.

“The first thing that thrilled me about ‘Gabbar’ was working with Akshay Kumar. In fact, it was he, who recommended my name, I never knew that though. I was very excited that Akshay was the film’s hero. I felt this was the best film to jump into. “I immediately knew there would be actions scenes as there was Akshay Kumar in the film and I was happy that I would get to show my talent,” he said. As excited as he sounded having shared screen with Akshay, let’s see how his Hindi film debut turns out in a couple of weeks.
