Akshay Kumar finalised as the next Big Boss host?

As tough as it looks to have settled for a choice, in all-likelihood it seems Khiladi Akshay Kumar will be hosting the next season of Big Boss. After Salman Khan walked out of the deal and announced he won’t be a part of the next season, a number of choices were to be looked on by the makers. It is believed that after SRK, Ranbir turned down the offer, Khiladi Kumar looks certain to have lapped in.

Akshay Kumar has also been a television host before for Khatron Ke Khiladi and Masterchef. The actor has a huge mass appeal among the TV audience with his comic and action avatars. However Big Boss may come as a big change for him as well as for the channel since Salman had been doing the show for quite some time. The reality show has seen a number of hosts over the years that include Arshad Warsi, Shilpa Shetty, Amitabh Bachchan, Sanjay Dutt and of course our very own Bhai. With Akshay coming in the fray, he may just add up to the list of the actors. A source revealed “After Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khanwas approached to host Big Boss 8 but due to the unavailability of dates, he couldn’t manage to host the show whereas, Ranbir who was also approached to host the show, refused to do TV at the moment. Now, Akshay Kumar has almost been finalised to host the reality show. Akshay currently has his home productions’ movie in his kitty so he can change the dates too according to the schedules of the show.”

Well it seems we will have to wait to know what the channel settles for. As for the audience, they may soon get a chance to enjoy their favourite actor hosting their favourite show since Akshay has a great sense of humour and can even spice up affairs.
